Guide pulleys made of TECAST GM
Description
Alongside the familiar drive components, rope elevators also require a large number of guide pulleys in different sizes. These guide pulleys are primarily made nowadays from grey cast iron and plastic.
Requirement profile
- Due to the specific weight of only 1.15 g/cbm, guide pulleys made of TECAST GM are approximately seven times lighter than pulleys made of conventional grey cast iron
- Reduced inertia of the entire installation due to the lower gyrating mass
- Pulleys made of TECAST GM are resistant to corrosion
- Significantly higher service life of ropes Reduced running noise using guide pulleys made of TECAST GM compared to grey cast iron pulleys. Quality ball bearings from renowned manufacturers also make a significant contribution to low running noise
- As guide pulleys made of TECAST GM are always dyed yellow, the time-consuming and costly process of painting is eliminated
