Rope Pulleys / Shaeves
Sector
Conveying and lifting technology
Application
Pulleys
Solution
Pulleys in TECAST T mod.
Description
Increased lifting capacity and reduced wear on steel ropes can only be achieved on mobile and lattice boom cranes through the use of pulleys made of plastic.
Requirement profile
- High surface pressure levels
- Adequate elasticity to cope with diagonal deflection
- Application temperatures of –40 to + 50°C
- Maintenance friendly
- Weight seven times lighter than steel
Material chosen
Because they are manufactured using centrifugal casting, pulleys made of TECAST mod. achieve the required characteristic profile and are approved by Germanic Lloyd certification for use in offshore applications.
Standard tools
Available design types and dimensions for pulleys in natural and black in accordance with the tooling list.
