Polyamidimides

Polyamidimides (PAI) are amorphous thermoplastic high-performance polymers characterized by high temperature resistance up to 270°C. High tenacity, rigidity and creep strength coupled with a low coefficient of thermal expansion ensure a high level of mechanical loading capacity and components with good dimensional stability.
Modification with graphite and PTFE produces highly wear-resistant stock materials with low frictional resistance which retain their high performance even in dry running conditions.
