Bonding of TECASINT

TECASINT components can be bonded to each other or also to other plastics, metals and elastomers. In order to ensure good adhesion joint, the components must be matched precisely to each other. The contact surfaces should be roughened in advance either mechanically or by dust blasting. Oils, greases and dirt must be removed using solvents.

Suitable glues include adhesion glues based on epoxy resin, polyurethane, rubber or cyanacrylate. Generally speaking, when bonding plastics possible practical advance trials should be carried out. In addition, we recommend getting in contact with experienced glue manufacturers.
