Due to the almost isotropic material characteristics and extremely low intrinsic tension level, sintered semi-finished products made of TECASINT and other sintered high-performance plastics are ideally suited for the machining of precision components with extremely narrow tolerances and minimal warpage tendencies.

If suitable machining parameters are observed, highly complex components can be produced on conventional machine tools. Turning, milling, drilling, grinding, sawing and thread tapping are all easily possible.
