TECARIM offers the excellent material characteristics of elastomer-modified polyamide in tandem with the design possibilities offered by RIM processing technology.

Characteristics

  • balanced toughness and rigidity
  • 75 – 50 Shore D hardness
  • extremely high impact resistance,
  • even at - 40°C
  • excellent abrasion and wear resistance
  • high energy and impact absorption
  • no brittle fractures under pressure or impact loads
  • no flow lines in the component

  • Component weights 0.5 – 18 kg from single/multiple moulds
  • Number of pieces (100, 500), 1,000 – 10,000, (50,000)
  • Elastomer content variable from 10 – 40%
  • Additives glass (beads/fibres), UV stabilisers, oil, MoS2
  • Standard colours: black, blue, yellow,
  • Inserts: metals (bushings, threads, etc.), Glass fabrics or mats
