Modifications

The characteristic profile of plastics can be selectively adjusted by integrating fillers for specific fields of application. This method permits for instance thermal, mechanical, electrical, optical and other characteristics to be modified. The most important fillers and additives alongside colourants and reinforcement fibres are stabilizers and friction-reducing additives.
